With nearly four decades of comedy experience, Susan Rice is an incredible career comedian with stories to tell. From appearances on Portlandia, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Don't Tell Comedy, and more. She released a 2025 Comedy Album/Special through Comedy Dynamics, Silver Alert, available on Amazon, Tubi, and more. Susan has captivated the nation's attention with her honest takes on life, aging, and the human experience of it all.

Susan brings a timeless, and sometimes mischievous, energy to the stage that audiences can't help but be drawn to. Her on-stage magnetism and precise punchlines have not only kept crowds laughing, but have created memorable performances for attendees over the years. Her relatable, observational, and sometimes self-deprecating humor is beloved by audiences of varying ages, as she blends sharp storytelling and effective punchlines with her natural charisma to create an unforgettale night for everyone.

SUSAN RICE

Susan Rice is a veteran stand-up comedian based in Portland, Oregon, who has enjoyed a massive career resurgence well into her seventies. After starting her journey in the early 1980s, she spent years performing in Los Angeles during the comedy boom on programs like Evening at the Improv and Comic Strip Live. Despite her early success, she eventually returned to Oregon and spent nearly two decades working a corporate job in health insurance, all while continuing to perform her comedy. She became a beloved fixture of the Pacific Northwest scene and was even named Portland’s Funniest Person in 2015.

Her professional trajectory changed dramatically in 2024 when a ten-minute set for the YouTube series Don’t Tell Comedy went viral, introducing her sharp wit to a global audience. Known for her self-deprecating humor and relatable observations on aging, medical procedures, and family life, she often refers to herself as a "funny old bag". This late-career momentum led to the release of her 2025 comedy special titled Silver Alert and an appearance on the Netflix reboot of Star Search. Today, Rice is celebrated for her ability to connect with audiences of all ages through stories about stolen hospital gowns, the absurdity of modern technology, and the realities of growing older.
